About Brixham:
Brixham is a working fishing port so there is always something to see (and hear). It is a vibrant town where a lot of people live all year round so it is not just holiday homes.
This means that we still have local stores such as a butchers, greengrocers, bakers and several small convenience stores. There are also plenty of small craft stores and a couple of art galleries. As you would expect there are several places to buy fresh fish directly from the boat. Brixham is generally a very dog friendly place also so feel free to bring your four legged friend!
Ideally please support the local economy when you visit rather than bringing everything with you if you can! A short walk from our property you can find pubs, restaurants and cafes in abundance and lots of opportunities for getting out on the water!
About Us:
We are Julie and Darin and our dog, Bowie (a Tibetan Terrier) and we moved here 3 years ago from Canada. We love Brixham and are looking forward to sharing it with our guests.
The Quarterberth is a totally independent part of our Georgian house and we live here full-time so are usually on hand to answer your questions. We have tried to put as much information on this site as we can and will be adding to it periodically - let us know what is missing!
